The Power of a Real Letter

A genuine, holograph letter still resonates like no other form of communication. Please consider this plea from Diane Wolk-Rogers, a teacher at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School:

“I would like to greet them [the students of MSD High School] all on the first day back with letters of support … Not the email kind or the texting kind but real letters handwritten and signed by kids from our amazing community.

“I want them to hold the envelopes addressed from around the world to see that they are not alone and there is still kind and caring people in this world,” the post says. “If you would like to participate please send the letters.”

We may not be kids, but we can still let this community of students and children know that our hearts are with them and that we will support them in their efforts to change our country for the better. Letters can be sent to
